Since December of 2004, I have been a Licensed Massage Practitioner after graduating from Ashmead College in Vancouver. I decided to become a Massage Practitioner mainly because I wanted to give people something they don't take the time to do, which is help them find their inner sanctuary of relaxation and total body awareness.

Through the therapeutic touch of massage, not only am I accomplishing what I originally sought out to do in becoming an LMP, but I am also getting the most satisfaction out of doing so. I also love to give treatment massages to people who need to get rid of tight muscles caused by stress, accidents or simply a bad night sleep. While being trained in relaxation, treatment, trigger point therapy and a wide range of spa treatments, I am able to bring comfort to everyone in need, whatever their needs might be.

My long-term goal as a Massage Therapist is to become a doula, as I thoroughly enjoy giving pregnant women the support they need along with the relaxation and touch their bodies require during that most life-changing time in their lives. I currently provide pregnancy massage and have enjoyed meeting all of my moms-to-be. Being able to help them reach total relaxation and calm their busy minds has made my longing to become a doula even greater.

With the support of the love of my life and my rock, Joshua, as well as my two rambunctious boys Dylan and Caleb, it is very rewarding to be committing myself to my profession 100 percent.

Yours in Health,
Rachael N. Haase, LMP
